Bulgaria's special geographik location in the Balkans, for this country is at a crossroad between East and West between North and South, and it's eventful history, have left their imprint on all spheres of modern Bulgarian life and culture. This includes the Bulgarian national cuisine. The latter has grown out of a wealth of culinary traditions, both local and foreign. These traditions were adopted during the various stages of Bulgarian's historical development. The Bulgarian cuisine, however, is not an eclectric collection offoreign traditions.
